We have supplied academic institutions and companies for more than 40 years. We are proud of our long and fruitful relations with many of our customers.
Below you can read how some of our customers use the Vienna Test System in practice. If you want to see our complete list of credentials, please click here: Credentials
HOSPITAL GRAZ
The Sigmund Freud State Mental Hospital is one of our big Austrian customers in the area of clinical psychology. In this hospital with about 800 beds practically the entire spectrum of clinical-psychological questions is assessed. The tests of the Vienna Test System are used to diagnose clinical-psychological, neuropsychological and psychiatric symptoms or syndromes, in a valid and scientifically grounded way. Due to the ergonomic input devices like light pen and panel, patients with motor or mental deficits are not disadvantaged.
AUDI AG
The car manufacturer Audi needed a substantial test solution for the selection of apprentices.
More than 3000 teenagers apply to Audi for 16 different trades. From this pool of applicants, 627 apprenticeships are to be filled according to objective criteria. In this order of magnitude, individual tests do not make sense from an economic point of view, and from the point of view of time.
We set up a VTS network, with which a test battery, that was specially put together, is presented automatically.
This is possible with the module Auto-Test of the Vienna Test System. Scoring is effectuated according to a special demand profile that takes into account school marks.
As a result the customer receives a ranking of the applicants for the various trades. This way Audi has an objective tool to identify the suitable applicants for the different trades. Thus an important element for the enhancement of the quality of applicant selection was created.
AUSTRIAN ARMY
The Austrian Army was planning to test pilot-candidates. For this, the construction of new tests, that were specially suited to that purpose, was required.
We developed special tests, to perfectly assess those abilities that are indispensable for a future pilot. These were integrated into a more substantial test battery. These tests are presented on a group system, to guarantee the most efficient testing of a great number of respondents.
Dr. J. Schmitz-Gielsdorf
Psychoanalytical office, psychotherapy, basic psychosomatic treatment, test-psychological diagnostics and examination, counselling and supervision, out-patient neuropsychological rehabilitation.
In Dr. J. Schmitz-Gielsdorf's office, a broad spectrum of test-diagnostic problems is dealt with. After a preliminary interview, during which the nature and origin of the symptoms is noted, Dr. Schmitz-Gielsdorf looks at the symptom picture and decides, which diagnostic tests are used. The length of the test presentation varies according to the problem: in some cases one or two tests are enough to provide a diagnosis, in some others a test battery of up to eight hours may be necessary. The items are worked on with panel and light pen, which makes it agreeable even for people with disabilities. The Doctor's office is known for its thoroughness, which is why many patients go there for out-patient examinations and to prepare for rehabilitation (often using the "RehaCom" product). Paper-and-pencil tests are only rarely used, since their administration is not economical and thus too expensive. With the use of IT, the most up-to-date norms are always available, and norm comparisons of age and education are easy to make. Another reason to choose the Vienna Test System is that it can easily be expanded. Depending on the development of the office or the patient groups, more diagnostic tests can be added. The patients like working with the Vienna Test System, because the computer always motivates them and provides them with feedback.
