Special input devices are used to achieve a degree of accuracy in the measurement of important aspects of performance that cannot be obtained with a computer mouse or keyboard. We have designed a special keyboard - the response panel - for measuring reaction time, reactive stress tolerance and sensomotor coordination. As well as special keyboards, we can also provide a light pen and other auxiliary devices for use with specific tests.

The response panel or the light pen can of course also be used for tests that can be worked with the computer mouse or keyboard. Individuals with limited computer experience or with motor impairments often prefer to use these special devices. The choice of ergonomic input devices that are appropriate to the user significantly increases subjects' motivation and their acceptance of the test situation.
